@kdfrawg Most I've ever had over was 130 and that was for our house-warming. I don't think holding something like that again would go over well with Sidekick.

Microsoft, I have been told twice today that were it not for a small application here or there, they'd request I put them on Enterprise Linux workstations again because the irritations they faced on that platform at least didn't stop them dead in their tracks.
Though I don't really have the time or resources, I'm giving serious thought to whipping up cross-platform versions of these applications and giving my customers the option to go back to Enterprise Linux if this updateapolooza becomes untenable.
It'll piss off a bunch of vendors but I am beyond caring at this point. Something's got to give and if they don't do it, I sure as Hell will.
Microsoft has got to either stop with the rapid-fire updates, changelog the living Hell out of them or give people the means to easily block them.
My phone is ringing off the hook from people who's legacy applications and printers are crapping out left and right. The vast majority of those applications aren't even OURS but they have exhausted all their other avenues and are desperate for help.
This is not good, Microsoft.

It's like being married to Steven Wright in a dress.
@matigo I'd prefer everyone be in my back yard with ribs on the grill and beverages for every pallet but that's not practical
@matigo Seriously, most of the people I interact with I can find on less irritating platforms. One of them, a Snopes editor who I've known since she worked for CNN radio, I keep up with on LiveJournal of all places.
Twitter is exceptionally obnoxious this morning. Only go there for four people at the most. It's just not worth the annoyance to do this anymore.
