I used to think the mid 1970s were the lowest the automotive industry would go in terms of uninspired designs.

The Chrysler made the K-cars in the 80s. "Only an abberation", I thought.

Driving along the highways, today, I see we are still plumbing the depths.

Yes, there are some good cars in the current crop but they look so….dull.

Duesenberg, Apple. Stop correcting it. It isn't 'Duisenberg'.

I want to see a company produce the next Duisenberg. Something people will lust after for a century to come.

Ooozes more class, with it's grill and bumpers, than the current crop…by a mile :D

Except now they are shaped like bugs.

Dispatch from home: I will not come home to see a 1000+ foot hose snaking from the hydrant in my yard to my neighbor's swimming pool after all.

I dread to think of how much he spent renting that length of high pressure hose.

Probably worth it since filling a pool with a garden hose takes three or four days.

It is. It gets fun when you apply socio-political history and religion to the story though. It becomes apparent he dug very deeply into it himself.

@kdfrawg Hahahahahahah! The sores, itching and medical bills are for what the Spaniards did to us. Enjoy them!

@kdfrawg Yes. Applying logic to that stuff is pointless because it has a natural immunity. I just shrug my shoulders, say, "It is what it is", and move on. :)

Life has a nifty way of beating sense into most people eventually. It's best to let life do it's work.

That's why the gods gave us tequila.
