@kdfrawg Oh. The worst, "I take back being irritated by a missed appointment", moment was with the guy who used to do my insurance. He had heart attack and passed away in his office. Was there for an entire day before someone discovered him. Poor guy. :(

@kdfrawg When it's expected it doesn't phase me much. When it's to someone young, that's when it hits me hard.

She had a very valid reason, it turns out. Call was completed. All is well.

Customer who missed scheduled call had a very good reason for being late. I rescind my earlier pique.

I'm at home now impatiently waiting for this call to be made and done so I can kick back and turn my brain off for a while.

This bunch knows I am home early due to being burned-out and exhausted and that I made an exception for them. If they're going to cancel or be this late, they should least have the courtesy to pop a quick text and let me know.
