@hybotics My childhood experience with them was a snake handling outfit in a very rural part of WV. They live in a very different world than the rest of us. I was raised Freewill Baptist but it never took. Services were held in a former one room schoolhouse dating back to the mid 1800s. Oppressively hot in the summer and deathly cold in the winter.

@skematica My town hosts the world HQ of the Church of God. When the liquor vote came up (was a dry county. Alcohol sales were illegal), they held prayer meetings all over town. They, of course LOST the vote because…they were holding prayer meetings instead of…voting.
@matigo When I briefly got back into power lifting (before my logical side said, ''Stop, idiot'), I could consume about 6000 calories a day safely. But it was mostly chicken, tuna and things of that ilk.
@matigo I experience side effects such as acid reflux and losing the ability to see my feet when standing up.
@matigo You are dealing with someone who can consume an entire 16" pizza for lunch. That someone would do it more often if he had the same metabolism he had 30 years ago.
