Now that the home improvement stuff is largely completed, we now settle down to a little gaming followed by a little Kentucky bourbon

@kdfrawg They're workhorses to be sure.

A 24 year old Fluke 12 Multimeter firing up after sitting for 17 years isn't unusual. The 18+ year old battery still functioning is another matter

@kdfrawg 10 bucks a piece.

Lowes was flabbergasted that there was no drill in the box. I suggested it was a box for a replacement unit that was accidentally left on the shelf but they said that they checked the serial number and it definitely did not belong to a display unit.

In other news: LED replacements for overhead florescent bulbs are SWEET.

Had to take two of them out since they are so bright.

Mailbox as finished as it is going to get. Now to return to Lowes and return the new cordless drill/driver I bought (to replace my ancient one) because I opened the box to find everything but the drill itself.

Also, need to pick up oddball florescent bulbs for the kitchen and a few other things.

No point in going to the office now since it is almost lunchtime.

I'm thinking 249.00 for the new mailbox and post is a little easier to explain to Sidekick

Making a Optimus Prime to nuke people speeding on our roads is a bit beyond my capabilities :D

@kdfrawg Our problem would be people doing 55 plus in a 35 zone

@kdfrawg That's the direction I'm going in. A metal pipe would be a nice touch as well.
