Hmm. Was going to go with a Bach and Dvorak playlist today.

Suddenly in the mood for Psychostick.

Oh God. I HATE those.

Another Apple irritation. Enabling two factor authentication and using an older Apple TV. Every time Sidekick fires up HBO Now, I get notifications on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air and Mini. I have to accept them. Getting to the page to enter the code on the Apple TV is a pain in the rear but doesn't even seem to be necessary.

I need to disable it before I go nuts.

Firing up a Windows 7 VM I do VS-2005 development on. Too lazy to port the project over to 2015.

It has not been updated since September. I am trying to head it off at the pass by forcing the updates to run now so they don't pester me halfway through the day. Windows is wise to me. The update dialog is in the "I will churn, spin and do nothing for hours but suck all your available battery in the process. When 1:00PM rolls around, I will start saying "REBOOT ME PLEASE!" every five minutes." mode.

It's a Bunn. It will work perfectly for four years then the reservoir heating element will fry. A new one will be ordered and the old one repaired, given to someone or taken to the office. There's your damned review. Stop sending the daily emails asking for one.

I am in a mood this morning.

Don't confuse a real problem for a petty, every-four-year annoyance.

Speaking of annoyances, I need to dig a big hole, put my to-do list in it, douse it with kerosine, burn it then bury the ashes.

A full fifty percent of them will throw a tantrum for week or so then be silent. The other fifty will be obnoxious then, a year or two down the line, embarrassed when their "great white hope" turns out to be a loser.

Either way, half of my annoyances will be silenced and I can get on deal with more important annoyances.

Ahhh. Today the BS will be over for another four years

I think I am being punished for not going into the office on Friday.

It has been one weird call after another all day today. Just inexplicable weirdness.
