Mailbox as finished as it is going to get. Now to return to Lowes and return the new cordless drill/driver I bought (to replace my ancient one) because I opened the box to find everything but the drill itself.
Also, need to pick up oddball florescent bulbs for the kitchen and a few other things.
No point in going to the office now since it is almost lunchtime.
@hybotics I'm thinking 249.00 for the new mailbox and post is a little easier to explain to Sidekick

Looks like I get to stop at the hardware store on the way home for some wood and a new mailbox.
I see a weekend project involving radar, rocketry and explosives in my future.
