I've just been informed that a Pumpkin Spice Latte has been purchased for me. I'd better hurry and finish the bourbon because mixing the two would be gross.
This is the portion of the evening where I complain about the aging process.
The screws, even with pilot holes, did not go into the 4x4 post easily at all. This is mostly due to the pressure I had to keep on the head of the cheap metal screws to keep them from stripping out. I did this by hand as my cordless driver/drill was dead and the one I bought this morning was absent from the case.
The tendons and muscles in my hand, combined with the arthritis stemming from multiple breaks AND the carpal tunnel are producing a symphony of pain right now.
Long gone are the days of being able to wrestle a 115 pound air chisle for eight hours then go bar hopping afterwards.

One thing comes to mind as I listen to some of it.
I would never have guessed the lead singer of Oingo Boingo would became so gifted a composer and arranger.
Who was a good boy today? Tom was a good boy today. He's earned the privilege of being a not so good boy for the rest of the evening.

Now that the home improvement stuff is largely completed, we now settle down to a little gaming followed by a little Kentucky bourbon
