@c It pretty much is. I'm not going to watch people who've grown up together and have known one another for nearly a half a century do that each other.
Life is far too short.

Put first seven ingredients in crock pot and cook on high for 4 hours.
Mash it all up until the soup is at the consistency you want.
Stir in the chives, cream and cheese.

Taking a breather and going on Facebook was a very bad idea.
