I really need to replace this.
@c It pretty much is. I'm not going to watch people who've grown up together and have known one another for nearly a half a century do that each other.
Life is far too short.
@joanna
- 6 large baking potatoes cut in 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 large, chopped onion.
- 1 quart of chicken broth
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 butter (I prefer 1/2)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper (I prefer a bit more)
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar
- 3 tablespoons chopped chives
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 8 slices of crisp bacon crumbled up
Put first seven ingredients in crock pot and cook on high for 4 hours.
Mash it all up until the soup is at the consistency you want.
Stir in the chives, cream and cheese.
Top it with the sour cream and bacon.
Edit: Beat back autocorrect with a stick
Taking a breather and going on Facebook was a very bad idea.
I have my hands full with the things I (mostly) can control. I've neither the time nor patience to argue about those things I do not. I'm definitely not inclined to watch grown adults hurl the epitaph, "Nazi", at one another.
@joanna Loaded potato soup. It's quite yummy. Exact portions of ingredients are on a card in the kitchen. I am too lazy to fetch it.

@bazbt3 Those sorts of one-click installs make me a nervous wreck. I really should have set it up on my home server and tested it before doing it on a hosted VM.
Live and learn.
@kdfrawg It was a webmin install script module that did the damage. Everything was symlinked together. The node_modules directories were all linked together. I don't have shell access to simply 'unlink' the stuff. Just a FTP prompt. Many gigs of node.js stuff puked out all over the place.
