Kind of hoping this new tech frontier goes the way of 3D TV.
@matigo I remember sitting in a hotel room in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico some years back. Watching TV. Trying to make heads or tails of what was going on with my "studied just enough to pass tests" High School Spanish.
It was an adventure.
@matigo I stopped watching network TV when "Who wants to marry a millionaire?" was on. (Yeah, that long ago).
The few occasions I have tried to watch it again have been a shock. It's even worse than it was then.
@matigo I don't doubt it. Rooting and removing all of the Verizon garbage from my old Android phone took my battery life from 8hrs standby to a little over two days.
@kdfrawg No difficulties like that, thank heavens. Just garden variety insomnia. Been like that since childhood.
@nitinkhanna Kindle reader and the Apple Remote app are about the only things I use on my iPad Mini 1 now.
