Combination of being too busy/active to eat for the most part. I can afford to lose another 20, truth be told. Was closing in on 250. I'm tall and large framed and can carry that much but my knees don't particularly care for it.

I'm at the stage of my life where losing ten pounds evokes two responses…

"Yay" and "Is it cancer?"

(I'm going with Yay for now. I don't have the mental bandwidth to deal with the other.)

Current status: Listening to Firesign Theater, updating my schedule, smoothing some rough edges in a design document, planning meals for the next week and other mundane stuff.

About to put a cup of coffee on and take advantage of the peace and quiet.

Not sure how I missed this. I wonder how many people wailed and gnashed teeth.

There's a lot of nifty stuff coming in c# 9.0. I'm going to be able to eliminate a substantial amount of source which is a big win in my book.

Rather than download the second release candidate, I'm just going to wait for .NET 5's official release.

The new, immutable records are going to make a lot of the logic I am working on much cleaner.

Can't wait.

Edit: It's next Tuesday so the wait isn't going to be too long.

Roughly nine years, yes
