@matigo Downloaded the 20.04 ISO and moved it to a USB stick last night while doing laundry. I have a i7 box here I used as a World of Warcraft server and a VirtualBox VM host for legacy platforms. I now have Docker-ish plans for it.
I'd have stuck with Enterprise Linux but they are simply too far behind.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I’m going to have to contend with ARM sooner than expected. You can just feel a big shift coming within the next couple of years
There was a time I kept on top of programming languages. Treated them like Pokemon. "Collect them all".
Now I look at stuff like Rust, Scalia and Haskell and wonder what the point even is.
@matigo Combination of being too busy/active to eat for the most part. I can afford to lose another 20, truth be told. Was closing in on 250. I'm tall and large framed and can carry that much but my knees don't particularly care for it.
I'm at the stage of my life where losing ten pounds evokes two responses…
