Every once in a while, the world gives me a sign. Today's sign being, "buy from brick and mortar more often".

Ordered a rechargeable battery for a Logitech K750 Solar keyboard.

Was handed off to USPS and scheduled for delivery this evening.

Got a message from Amazon that the postal service was returning it to Amazon because it could not be delivered.

I know it wasn't a case of signing for it. It's a $8.00 rechargeable watch battery.

This is the only kind I have at my disposal.

I’m pretty sure Todd Rundgren didn’t mean this when he penned, I don’t wanna work. I just wanna bang on the drum all day”

That sucker did not want to come off

Were it not for a physical warehouse.

The 7.5l Thunderbird (460ci) is the biggest I've ever driven.

The scale and distances are what so many overlook when they ask why Americans favor larger cars and why electric hasn't fully caught on. I drive a bare minimum of 482 km every week just getting back and forth from work.

I'd love an electric car that could manage that without major complications but it does not exist yet nor will it for quite a long time.

It's a system that's destined to collapse. Making goods and performing services efficiently is worthless if the customer base is destitute.

Those look wonderful.

I've been in kind of the same state. Unloaded a pallet of top soil and spread it on the raised bed we have for sunflowers. Then cleaned a bit in the garage. Laid down for a nap and didn't wake up until 4:00am this morning.

I think this means I am getting old.

Gaming is about the only thing you need real hardware for now.
