Got my obscure dynamic dhcp/bind issue at the house resolved. My options are to either play Fallout 4 or drive to the office NOW and get the server situation rectified and attack a few remaining annoyances while no-one is there to bother me.
Opting for the latter.
@matigo Got the application server online once the DNS server was up and running. Also got the git repos up and accessible (which is what tipped me off to the problem to begin with).

Status: Imaging Windows 10 system's hard drive in preparation for slapping a new 2TB drive in. While bobbing my head to Earth, Wind and Fire's "And Love Goes On"
The latter happens a lot. Confession time. I might be a metal head at heart but Earth, Wind and Fire is one of my all time favorite bands.
