Sneaky means plausible deniability. Always a good thing

Funny how a misbehaving server has morphed into an episode of Murder She Wrote.

There's always a downside to promotions. I had a lot more fun when I wasn't in charge of anything,

That looks like a Steve Jobs keynote joke. Good job!

Status: At home instead of office. Doing dry runs of the raid stuff on a VM to make sure everything works as planned. Also doing dry runs on RHEL 7 as the methods differ somewhat.

The last time I did this was a while ago, remotely over ssh, on a RHEL 5 server. Talk about nerve wracking.

The small Shuttle PC sharing an old dot matrix printer in our office is on the other end of the spectrum. 9.87 years of spinning. Zero SMART errors so far. Kind of want to see it pass the 100,000 hour club. Only two more years and change.

It did seem that way during that era. Things moved so danged quickly until Intel released the Core Duo. AMD sort of fell by the wayside after that.

Wow. That hard drive is in pristine shape for it's age. Only a year and a half of total powered on time.
