My earlier build headaches with QT had a simpler solution..grumble…grabbed the 5.7 build directly from git. Much smoother.
I am 99.99 percent of the way there. Only one thing left to port until VS2012 and VS2013 can be eliminated. Mostly ancient in-house utilities written under .NET 2.
This will leave me with only VS2015 and a virtual machine running Metrowerks CodeWarrior 8.0 for the Palm app that a few people refuse to leave behind.
This is the time of the early AM that I get irritable. In a few hours, I have to go to the office thus destroying any hope of progress until Friday comes around again.

This is okay since my only post was made years ago and consisted of a shell script that displayed a yearly calendar per keypress for one hundred years with the instructions for the user to point at the screen and say, "That is not the year of the Linux desktop" after every keystroke.
Now playing with ghost on it.

@matigo Kind of lost here. I host on Linux servers I have root level access to and generally have the same access on the DNS servers associated.
I have a domain parked.
What CNAME entry, entered there, is going to get me from point A to point B.
Sorry for being obtuse. I generally plug in primary, secondary and tertiary server IPs and add the zone to the DNS servers in question.
@matigo No problem. Just had a couple of questions concerning redirects and such and didn't want to clutter up public with them.
ie: Essentially wanting to point to your blogging bits. Am I going to need a URL re-direct or DNS? etc. (Bear in mind my brain is fried from fighting C++ all weekend)
