8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are only used in this way, "Please type ping <one of those> and hit enter" so I can tell they are getting out on the internet.

I use <ip address of bind 9 nameserver in my basement>, personally.

eCigs don't bother me at all. Regular cigs, however, give me an instant headache. Odd since I used to smoke.

That looks so relaxing.

Google is supposedly launching a new wifi router.

Call me paranoid but I simply do not trust Google in any way shape or form. The second they came out with "Do no evil" that set off my alarm.

It's the same way the guy who says, "Never mind me" is the one you need to watch like a hawk.

Just become more selective about which bits of it you choose to associate with. Works for me. Also, where humans are concerned, the dregs rise to the top before the crème.

It's not a Merkur. I actually looked at those and the Solingens. I'd have to dig through receipts to see what brand the thing is.

It keeps it's finish very well. It's nearly three years old.

Also, my resistance to the Apple watch is weakening. Mostly because of the fun things you could potentially do with code. I have a feeling that they block you from doing the super fun stuff though.

Fun fact: I learned to shave with a straight razor. "Doing it right", as my grandfather would say. I'd go back to that but Sidekick would worry herself to the point of ulcers. That and having to keep the blade up with a strop is a hassle.

Fortunately, I made image files of that stuff long ago.

It's a study in economics. Yes, the razor cost $85.00 (Solid brass. Chrome plated. Very hefty). But, 100 good blades cost approximately $16.00. It has already paid for itself and I am not creating a mountain of plastic trash in a landfill. The only drawback is you have to be careful because those things can slice you wide open. The term "Safety Razor" is a bit of a oxymoron. :)
