I have the Acer Core Duo1 running Android Studio under Ubuntu and the HP Pavilion DV5 laptop doing the same.

The latter survives sleep/wake roughly 8 times out of 10.

Neither have melted down. Yet.

I've been planning on having a local Apple repair shop put another battery in this Air but I use it too much to be without it. Have to catch him on a weekend and make sure he can get it done same day.
