@skematica It's hard not to be cynical about it, but, the amount of progress away from narrow-mindedness in my lifetime has been startling.
Society is like a big ship. Takes both a while to change course and if you force the issue, you risk capsizing.
Still, we've come quite a long ways.

@skematica I can't remember, outside of messenger, the last time I used anything with the name Yahoo attached. Had to be in the late 90s.
@kdfrawg Deep down, I loath them. They keep me tethered to a world I desperately need to escape once in a while.
I miss the days of being on the road and being OUT OF REACH. Until you stopped at a pay phone and checked in with the office anyway.
