Marginally productive day thus far.
I'm at that weird cusp where hardware is concerned.
Do I want to wait until new models are released in the off chance they up specs I find meaningful or do I buy now before Apple has a chance to make some stupid change regarding ports and such that I don't want - Or before they eliminate the Air entirely because you know they want to?
I think I'm buying now.
@matigo They aren't svelte. Big weighted pendulum turns a shaft at very high rpms. The generated electricity is stored in a lithium ion cell. Most of these things are men's watches only because of the size of the movements.
@kdfrawg And the pendulum is, indeed, not even noticeable. I wonder what it was about the design of the earlier ones that made the pendulums click like they did.
