Everyone has been told they can come in if they want to Thursday and Friday. I'm going in.

Happy Birthday, America.

Thank you for being born because I have this Wednesday to myself. Without office phones rining. I have tons of explosives, bags of charcoal and mountains of meat for the evening as well.

Not as weird as in my twenties. Three days awake - crash for 12 hours. I'll never be an eight hours every night person.

Brisk three mile walk in the can, we now turn our attention to breakfast.

It's 3:30AM. Up and wide awake since I crashed at 6:00PM. I think, to pass time, I will don the running shoes and head to the greenway. Walk a few miles and possible catch a few podcasts in the bargain (Assuming I can find my earpods)

Then, the only bridge that remains to be crossed is the 12 hour battery life.

I'm surprised there aren't strict, anti-USB-stick policies. We've made it so easy to abscond with sensitive data now.

Mostly minor fixes and feature additions in modules other than payables. The usual stuff that happens as we all plod forward. The big problem is newer versions of Windows being tossed into the mix,

You mean, "When I die". I'll never retire. Also, I have some other people in the wings being trained for that eventuality. ;)

With our software, it isn't that big of a deal if they are only using the payables module. Only becomes an issue when they start adding new equipment to the mix. They have a mixture of Windows 2000, XP and RHEL 5.

I used to get onto people about it but it does no good. I just wait until things go haywire and they call.
