@larand This Air has been very skittish since the upgrade to Yosemite (Mavericks actually)
I'l do it from the home office.
Even worse than the template fetish is coming across a class that takes 15+ parameters in the constructor.
Makes you want to dig out a dot matrix printer, print the source on fanfold, roll it up (It will be as think as a log) and beat the everliving Hell out of the author.
@larand Clicked link in both Safari and Firefox and nothing happens. Not sure if it's this ailing Air or what. I'll try it after I get home.
You may think there's no such thing as a variant fetish. I'm here to tell you, there is such a thing and it is horrible.
I may just burn this bit of code and redo it. It's only ~30,000 lines or so.

Every time I try to think my way through porting this heavily complicated QT3-based class to QT5, it feels like swimming in a riptide. After a week of insomnia capped off by a late summer cold, I have hit the wall.
