Giving the Brave browser a test spin. Have to say I am impressed so far. Fast and it isn't chewing through battery like Safari and Firefox. The built in ad blocking is pretty solid too.

@matigo No. I was only using 8GB of 16GB at the time. There's some overhead in there somewhere. Understandable because of the journalling.

@matigo I've noticed performance degradation where many, small, atomic operations are concerned. (Say, heavy MySQL insertions and deletions). Kind of similar to going from ext3 to ext4 though not as pronounced.

Of course, I get asked a question about a platform that has been dead for years during a period where I can barely remember my own name. (NyQuill for the win!)
Seriously. NyQuill apparently seeks out areas of the brain that store PalmOS information. Particularly the bits pertaining to Symbol CSM scanners.
Presently decompresssing a Windows 2000 VM that has MetroWerks and the PalmOS emulator so I can answer the stupid question tomorrow.
