Anything that GTK touches turns cancerous.

Good God. My office looks like a Radio Shack and a Goodwill had a love child that exploded.

No wonder Sidekick gasped the last time she walked in.

Now that the in-house distro has a full build tree on this Proliant, I could make it capable of generating DVD ISOs. If I get really, really, really bored that is.

Sidekick is in watching the Ghostbusters Remake. I refuse to do so, as I am on strike until this generation of Hollywood comes up with it's own, new IP.

Particularly something as complicated as git and ssl on a single tasking OS running without protected mode extensions.

I wouldn't dare download it. I evaluated WxWindows back in 2000/2001 and it was the strongest argument for "Use QT" there ever was.

WxPython still exists?

Man, porting SSL to that thing would be a royal pain in the rear. I'm sure someone else has done it already but my brain goes into roll-your-own mode whenever I see a C:\ prompt.

It's a disease.

The parts are getting scarce. A bit worrisome but as soon as the 14 thorns in my side are removed, I should never have to re-visit the Jurassic like this again.

Must resist the temptation to fire up that machine I was doing the DOS app.net client on.

I wonder if I can port enough of git to it to put the code in a repository not pronounced CVS
