Protip: If you have a sore throat, bourbon works far better than any over the counter medication you are likely to find. A lot more pleasant tasting too.
@matigo Yep. Only reason I consider it is that particular type of car, Sport Wagon, is no longer available and the one they are considering re-introducing to America will be in the 70K range :)
Love that car and it is in immaculate shape for an 18 year old model. Detailed, it looks fresh from the showroom.
@matigo It's the most expensive work to have on a BMW apart from an engine or tranmission rebuild.
@matigo Involves pulling the radiator, water pump, power steering, hoses and entire front half of engine. It's a nightmare.

Had to contend with the BMW learning itself all over again during the drive home. About 25 miles in, it figured out that it was no longer ailing. Should have reset the codes on it but I forgot. I'll do it tomorrow.
Now that I have fully caught my breath from working on the car, I will fetch some coffee.
It's ridiculous that I was out of breath and zonked for over an hour after doing that. Damned cold.
