@matigo I'm about to wander into the break room and get it started, myself. Thought for a while I had drank enough at the house. But that's a concept I can't grasp - Enough coffee. One of those things that sounds ludicrous if you say it out loud.
@matigo They are going to not be happy with the new software release as I am no longer supporting impact printers.
Rather than stare at the ceiling, I arrived at the office at 2:30am.
The highlight of the morning, thus far, has been tracking down a box of 132 column, 14.5 inch, fanfold paper.
One of the dangers of working at a company that is only a year younger than Microsoft is occasional legacy demands.
Need the paper to fine tune a service order form driver for a large customer that refuses to modernize.
Annoying in a way but it's also a nice detour from the .NET core stuff I've been working on.
@matigo When they had the old client that generated the packets you had to upload, I installed it on hundreds of Linux workstations and had a cron job that fetched and processed overnight. Racked up quite a lot of units.
// @joeo10
@joeo10 It was 3, yes. I would have played on the PS2 more but work just became all encompasing. I got the Gamecube for Zelda Wind Waker.
@joeo10 First was Gran Turismo. Sadly, I didn't get to play it much because I had just started this job and suddenly found myself in software crunch Hell. I didn't get back into the console stuff until the Gamecube came out.
@joeo10 Maybe it can do some good. Most of those shows should have went the way of COMDEX years ago.
@matigo I was about to ask you if themes would make a comeback. I didn't see where any additional ones could be chosen.
