Wow. Just checked the App store. Everything from Lion up to El Capitan is still there. No Sierra.

Good thing I found out about this before tomorrow night since I was going to totally wip and restore it. (I may have Sierra on a external drive from where it was downloaded though. I'll have to check)

If I have the installer still, , I'll PM you a dropbox link so you can download it if you like. (It will be a while though as I am a long way from home)

Gives me pause concerning the mid-2011 Air I'm using right now. It was one of those incompatible with Continuity and has been progressively flakier with each update since.

// @kdfrawg

That's very uncharacteristic of Apple. Weird, in fact.

@kdfrawg It could be similar to the issues that prevented some machines from upgrading/working properly when the Continuity/Handoff stuff was introduced. (Bluetooth chipset incompatibilities)

You'd think they'd plaster a big "No Bueno" or warning in the installer for stuff like that.

Yoga mostly. It helps a little but is by no means a cure all. As for drugs, for a period of my life (long ago), if it didn't involve needles, I was fair game. I outgrew that pretty quickly.

@kdfrawg You're in Pennsylvania or did I misread/remember that? If so, it's odd that our weather has been this similar over the latitudes.

Spent the drive into the office in a line of cars stuck behind "that car".

Going under the speed limit but never at a constant speed but would speed up the second someone tried to pass then tailgate that person after they did. Took about 25 miles of two lane highway and several people turning off before I got behind the idiot.

I go to pass. He/she (Didn't look. Didn't care) played the speed up game again.

Kia vs BWM so it was over with pretty quick. The post-pass tailgating part of the game never took place for the same reasons.

Pulled into service station down from office later. Guy at checkout counter looks right at me. "Were you behind that asshole in the green Kia?" "Briefly" "What causes people to be like that?" "I wish I knew".

A few pleasantries exchanged after that and here I am munching on the sausage biscuit I picked up at the service station.

That's my Thursday so far. Hope yours is less irritating.

It is. My only concern is if winter will be the same. The drivers here, on snow, are terrifying.

Boy this has been a abnormally mild summer.

Today is the first day in nearly a month that the ambient temp outside has gone over 90. They're forecasting the mid 70s over the weekend.

That would be too much temptation for me. Those things are chocolate covered crack.
