@matigo It seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I used to LOVE OneNote but the bloat is killing it for me.

@matigo I completely redid nearly all packages. Kernel included. Maintained, updated and supported it for years. Solo.
"No fun at all" was the very tip of the iceberg.
@sumudu Hmmm. You've made me curious. I have Office365 but seldom use it. And I am growing weary of Apple's to-do app (which I have been using when I stray from my manual note taking)
@matigo Long time before that. KDE 3.5 had just come out. I completely stripped everything Gnome-centric from RedHat and integrated a KDE stack into the desktop. Made it very Windows-like. Massive amount of work that I regret to this day. Essentially, I had to redo things clear down to the kernel level.
@matigo I've always had a lot of misgivings where Ubuntu anything was concerned. Mostly because we tried to deploy it once and the results were so unsatisfactory that I had to go down the "roll our own distro" rabbit hole.
Shuttleworth took years from my life.
Why I am still sipping on bourbon at three AM is a mystery.
Actually, it isn't. It was a failed attempt at anesthetizing myself.
I'm getting too old for these manic phases.
@matigo I liked some of the ideas behind WebOS. Unfortunate that it went by the wayside. We indeed do need an alternative.
@jussipekonen Back when I was heavily into Android on the code side (2.0), I likened it to trying to eat something that wasn't quite "done" in terms of cooking. I suspect that hasn't changed much.
I'm going to say something I never thought I would say.
"I am sad that Windows Phone didn't hold out a little longer before sunsetting"
I really want a iPhone alternative that isn't Android.
@jussipekonen Every experience I have had with Android devices tends to end in this kind of disappointment/irritation. Sad because I would like an alternative to the iPhone.
