@kdfrawg I used to think there'd be an eventual backlash against national chains rolling in and running everyone off. I've realized that it needs filed away with the tooth fairy and other myths.

@kdfrawg For a number of years, Sidekick wanted me to start one up here in town but with Starbucks, it is a losing proposition.

@kdfrawg That's my biggest beef with them. Fortunately there are a few local options left. None particularly win me over though. I miss the one I used to go to in Columbus, OH. It was a 24/7 affair with bean bag chairs, couches and tons of chess sets and board games. Place was always packed.
