That actually sounds pretty good.

@kdfrawg Oh. You'd have to burn it down and start over again. Blame the 24hr "News" cycle.

It's hard to believe it's guys our age or older who can remember when the News was at 6:00PM weekdays with local news, once again, at 11:00PM..Then it was either the Tonight show, an old movie or the star spangled banner followed by static.

@kdfrawg Well, most of my little circle are Independent or Libertarian. They view news the same as I do. Pablum delivered to the masses by women vacuum-packed in dresses and coated with hairspray or smarmy men in cheap suits.

Bimbograms and Douche Dispatches.

Bring back the David Brinkley / John Chancellor days and I'll pay attention to it again.

@kdfrawg And it's a situation entirely of their own making. One graph you'll never see is the one for Independents. I suspect it is very, very green.

@kdfrawg Sounds like a bunch of PageMaker stuff at the office. Ancient and totally useless as nothing can properly convert it.

Not that it is needed anymore. I keep it around as a reminder to long-term store things in as open a format as possible.

Journalist friend is aghast at this. I will refrain from comment.

@kdfrawg I'd like to see a little more competition in Adobe's space. Not fond of their present business model. A lot of Corel products fill in the gaps but having more to choose from would be wonderful.

My plan so far..

  1. Ignore the debate
  2. Ignore Twitter.
  3. Munch on some tacos.

I don't think that even the compact framework was ever that limited.

I've seen nonsense like that with dBase before but SQL?
