@kdfrawg IT ineptitude will be the final chapter of the baby boomers

@skematica ..Actually, I'd take the Sasquatch path because it's warmer and all you have to do is scare a random hick once or twice every decade.

@skematica You're studying to become a Yeti? That sounds awesome!

I typed, "Dude, fix this please.", to the buddy that hosts several of my sites and clicked 'send'.

What scares me is that, in the Internet, we are placing all of our eggs in a very fragile basket.

What terrifies me is that I can come up with sure-fire ways to break a lot of eggs.

I'm a mere infant compared to legions of security pros and talented misfits so feeling terror is justified.

It wouldn't be so bad if it just warned me once. Sometimes I am inundated by eight or nine pop-ups in a row with no "Accept this stupid certificate anyway" or "I get it. Shut up and leave me alone" options.

Going into the virtual server interface was next to impossible due to the certificate problem. Had to grab my laptop to do it.

Royal pain in the rear-end.

Okay. Accounts disabled. Mail sent to web and mail hosting buddy. On to even more mundane matters.

Well, I just got bit by this this morning [support.apple.com]

Looks like my gtwilson.net email is going to be unreadable under iOS until it is straightened out.

"Please dispose of our product so that you and your fellow passengers may survive your flight"

That's a brutal end to a product
