According to a customer in Miami, I'm missing one heck of a party. Little Havana is rocking it.
@skematica One of life's unfair bits is that the bourbon we deserve never comes to us. It makes us seek it out. It's my dream that someday, science will invent homing bourbon that, upon aging, departs the barrel by drone to go where it is needed.
Sipping a bourbon while relaxing alone at the house. Sidekick is still across the street with her family. Mostly, I'm reflecting on the year.
I can't complain. Love. Good family. Good friends. Nothing else really matters, does it? The rest of the world might be a little discombobulated but my corner is in order and the other corners I've been blessed to be a part of, I've done my best to keep nice.
Right at this moment, I'm thinking that I lost a man who has been a part of my life from my birth and I never had the chance to say goodbye. However, I've gained a little man who's on the verge of talking and, God willing, I'll never have the opportunity to say goodbye to him either. I got to say, "Hello", to them both and that's what really matters.
Quite a lot more to going on in my head but I'll spare you. :)

@kdfrawg The hard part is that it might put a strain on a relationship. If it were just gtwilson.net, I wouldn't care. I have some for my wife that mean money. Different matter. Not having quite the problems with those but I've had enough that the trust has eroded a bit.
