Dirt cheap / Inadequate. Overpriced / Suitable. Hardly anything in between.

Over the years, that has remained a constant.

Good grief. Every time I go back to Facebook (infrequent) it gets worse.

Wall to wall ads, quizzes, and the same articles shared ten million times.

Fortunately people can keep up with me on Skype.

I'll never cease to be amazed by game forums. I've yet to visit a one that didn't proclaim that the game was dying/being killed by the most current patch/will be killed by a toxic community/etc

I'm betting the answer is "not a lot"

Starting to think that life is giving me some not so subtle hints about priorities.

  • Guy who was supposed to come by and plow the plot at the back of the yard on Saturday shows up this morning.
  • Guy who was supposed to buy and haul off my old car on Saturday shows up this morning.
  • Neighbor had an issue and asked for help so…helped him
  • Server in Ohio goes crazy. Dealt with that on cell while dealing with the two tardy guys and my neighbor
  • Server in Kentucky goes crazy. Dealing with that over cell as well.
  • Ancient server in Virginia done in by age and power surges from all the snow. Dealing with that simultaneously.

Just now, at 11:30AM, I make it into the office.

This is definitely Monday.

I'd rather them be switched too. Trust me.

Today's agenda: Grab another couple of hard drives, redo our home server with EL7, and set up mail services again.

Also: Get the cilantro, chives and watercress planted.

I don't even want to think of how much money I wasted on Omega Race and Space Invaders.

My wife and I used to have impromptu CounterStrike matches but that was years ago. I'm more into open world gaming at this stage.
