It wouldn't be. The RHEL6 version of node is woefully outdated so I have to use NVM. Already using it for two ghost blogs. I could probably hack it out and make it work but I've already put a XMPP server online for Sidekick and I. More work to be social than it is worth :D

Scratch earlier idea of buying a preassembled gaming PC. The only ones with halfway decent internals are garish nonsense.

Relaxing evening in space.

Hosting a mastodon node on my server alongside Ghost is just not going to happen - period. NodeJS requirement screws the proverbial pooch. Took too long to get the hackneyed nvm stuff working. Not going to break it.

This is exactly why I avoid buying one. I'd have umpteen million projects and one for each.

A possibility.

Okay. I need to build a new server for the house. RHEL-6 on a AMD A8-3850 is doing okay for it's obvious age but I think a little more oomph is in order.

It it's one of those Underpants Gnome plans, count me in. I love those.

Starting small. I keep fighting temptation where those things are concerned.

That's awesome. I hope she didn't overhear "the expert" denigrating her work.
