@skematica There were a few wadded panties in that mailing list over it. But, I had been tasked with putting Linux on companies all over the US and the rah rah rah stuff just made me boil over.
Since emoticons cause sidekick's ghetto phone to barf.(She hates smartphones. Uses a flip phone) I figured whipping out iMessage and sending her free form drawing would cause it to do a Samsung. I'm disappointed to report that it did not.
@larand When I click play on the iPad, my music comes out most of the time. When I click save in pages, I know I may well never see the damned thing again.{^1}

@skematica Every company has an area where they suck rocks through straws and fart dead pigeons. For apple, it's anything to do with the cloud that isn't called iTunes.
@matigo Don't make me come over there. It'd mean airports and those just make me more cross.
No idea what it is with Ubuntu and I. I've used more distros than I can even recall. Built it from scratch. Even downloaded just the kernel back in the late 90s. Nothing has given me headaches like Ubuntu from Ibex on.
@skematica Not so much preaching as expressing bewilderment that I'm using multiple apple products.
@matigo This is combining two things I have been at war with. You saw how ubuntu and I got along a few days ago. Combining it with that Nexus 7 would result in bloodshed.
@skematica It's funny because I had loathed Apple products from clear back in the 8 bit computing era. But, they make excellent devices. Not as hackable or fun from the geek side as Google bug definitely solid, fast and trouble free.
