@kdfrawg I've been guilty of it as well. That's why I said almost nothing about politics on here. Put a gag on myself as it were.
We've swung way too far in one direction. The correction is going to be equally out of whack. Both parties have abandoned the center.
It's going to be a real mess.
The Identity Politics stuff has to go. In terms of race and gender relations, we've lost DECADES of progress. I don't know about you but I really don't wake up in the 1950s and that is right where we are headed on the racial front..
@kdfrawg …I pretty much knew it would end this way the moment Hillary Clinton made her "Deplorables" comment and people started wearing it like a badge of honor on social media. That and how the media beat Mark Halpirn down when he kept saying, "Guys, hold up. He has a clear path to actually win this".
Hubris and arrogance.
And they are DOUBLING DOWN on the behavior even now.
@kdfrawg I could only put it in course terms. This was not an election. This was a "Fuck You". Plain and simple. So many people patronized, silenced and ridiculed. Called racists, sexists, etc. The media telling them they were rubes. Hollywood telling them the same.
First populist that comes along and opens the wagon, they're going to hop right on.
And they are STILL doing it. Every insult. Every epitaph. It only strengthens Trump and makes it worse.
The world has indeed gone mad.
