@kdfrawg It's looking more and more like a problem I have not totally thought through.

Reading that made me cringe.

Time to move onto other things and let what I am working on percolate in my head a bit longer. It "ain't done" yet.

Generally a bad sign when an elegant solution to a problem cannot be found. Nine times out of ten, it's an indication that you haven't fully defined the problem.

Stuck at the normal crossroads. Do I battle complexity or just give in to it?

If thanking me meant snoring loudly after the storms passed, then yes.

Hopefully, the weather will be good tonight so I can get something accomplished.

Last night we had severe storms with hail. The whole nine yards.

This means I had a job to do where the cat was concerned. This job was to sit in my office. I HAVE TO BE IN MY OFFICE. I am not allowed to leave my office. My ankles have to be in plain sight at all times. You see…she is not properly hidden under the desk unless my ankles are visible.

Such a strange little creature.

If she makes one more late edit, I am going to insert something about a clown parade into a pivotal point of the book.

It's final edits time…or as I like to call it…..

"OMG YOU'RE GOING TO HATE ME BUT I THINK IT WOULD LOOK BETTER THIS WAY! I'M SORRY I DIDN'T THINK OF THIS BEFORE! WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'NO'?! TOM PLEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!

…time.

That was my first thought too.

"When did THAT happen and how did I miss the announcement?!"
